Pantone has just released a new skin tone colour guide incorporating 110 different skin tones. While such a guide has a lot of uses in applications like photographic post production and retouching, the research behind it has many other uses.
Makeup retailer Sephora recently announced a partnership with Pantone to produce an app to help women scientifically match the right foundation to their skin tone. The images in this post are screenshots of the app.
